Après plus de 14 années de présence sur le web, je continue encore aujourd'hui cette incroyable aventure qu'est la découverte du virtuel. Lampe torche, sac à dos, planche de surf et bien sûr ce calepin indispensable pour mémoire.

Karate Kid

Dre Parker (Jaden Smith), a 12 year-old boy, and his mom Sherry (Taraji P. Henson) are moving to China. In this new world, he will have to learn how to defend himself.

Despite the fact this Karate Kid follows the same plot as the precedent (seeing art martial as physical expression, not just fighting), it brings a strong story of two people culturally different who are discovering each others' fears and past.

Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) will teach to Dre Parker the art of Kung Fu. Through the learning process, Dre will find peace in himself, learn to respect his environment and to be more attentive about elements surrounding him. He will meet a young charming girl with many talents Mei Ying (Wenwen Han).

I really enjoyed the film: it's fluid, authentic, beautiful with a nutshell of humor. It's a good moment in a theater. The crowd was mainly composed of kids but I assure you it's for all ages. I loved the fact that a huge part of the dialogues were in Chinese.

Refreshing.
