Après plus de 12 années de présence sur le web, je continue encore aujourd'hui cette incroyable aventure qu'est la découverte du virtuel. Lampe torche, sac à dos, planche de surf et bien sûr ce calepin indispensable pour mémoire.

Microbe Obliterator

Have you seen Wall-E? It's an awesome movie. Have you noticed inside the small robot which cleans the floor? His name is Microbe Obliterator. I'm his happy owner!

Actually and sadly not really. Mine isn't that cute, has obviously less personality, awesomeness and functionalities. Nevertheless as technologies grows we're getting close to it and my Roomba is performing everything I need so far.

Roomba

This programmable robot vacuums your apartment's floor without missing angles, it goes under the furniture. Its mission accomplished, your place is clean and it automatically plugs itself on his charging dock. Easy right? All you have to do empty it.

However, the robot has some issues with small objects on the floor. When it is big: the robot is moving them, on the contrary (ie cables, paper, plastics), the robot can sometimes stay stuck. You'll hear "Error". Usually, it stops working and stay in the same place.

To conclude, I am super satisfied. It cost twice the price of a real vacuum but the service and convenience you get worth it. If I have to give an appreciation, it should be 7/10.

@Mère Teresa: it actually works well on carpet. I never had issues so far with it (except with cables on the floor).
